Our Story

Florem

Florem. Latin noun, meaning; bloom. was born from Shaela’s search for nature-inspired wall art that felt both high quality and within reach whilst decorating her Victorian flat in London. That search led her to long-forgotten botanical books from the 1800s—pages softly yellowed with time, brimming with exquisite illustrations of flowers. She began carefully restoring each piece, breathing new life into the artwork while honouring its original charm and historical character. These are the prints we offer today.

ORIGIN

Victorian-era illustrations that feel timeless, characterful, and quietly charming. Each print tells the story of Britain’s native wildflowers, captured with care and curiosity by 19th-century artists and botanists. Thoughtfully reimagined for modern interiors, they bring a touch of natural beauty, a sense of calm, and a distinctly British sensibility to everyday spaces.

PHILOSOPHY

Our first collection reflects our belief that the natural world is a free source of creative inspiration accessible to all who admire it. This speaks to our mission: to make thoughtful, botanical art that is accessible to many—not just a few.
Whether you’re choosing a print as a gift or simply to bring a sense of calm and beauty into your space, each Florem. print is made to be both beautiful and attainable - art that feels personal and belongs in every kind of home.
